1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chimeasure ("the Service"), operated by Chimeasure LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Chimeasure is a cloud-based measurement application designed for chimney service professionals. The Service provides tools for documenting chase covers, chimney caps, fireplace dimensions, flue calculations, and related measurements with professional diagrams and exports.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each company account may have multiple users (technicians). You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription and Billing
Chimeasure offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — professional chimney and venting measurement documentation. You may not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all measurement data, job information, and exports you create using the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We store your data securely and will not sell it to third parties. You may export or delete your data at any time.
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms such as Jobber, Workiz, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services.
8. Availability and Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service includes offline functionality — data saved offline will sync when connectivity is restored. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While our measurement tools reference the International Residential Code (IRC), the Service is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. All measurements and calculations should be verified by qualified professionals before use in construction or compliance decisions. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of calculations or code references.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chimeasure LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
